BCCT Evening Highlights Dr. Paul Crosio’s Insights on Nominee Shareholding in Thailand

On July 3, 2025, the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) hosted an engaging evening event at their office, titled Nominee Shareholding in Thailand – A Legal Loophole or a Liability? The event drew a diverse group of attendees eager to navigate the complexities of Thailand’s legal landscape for foreign businesses.

The highlight of the evening was an insightful presentation by our own Partner Dr. Paul Crosio. Dr. Crosio provided a comprehensive overview of nominee shareholding structures, addressing critical topics and how the recent crackdowns on foreign companies, and covered reviews of key Thai Legislation such as the Foreign Business Act, Supreme Court rulings, investigation methods, and recent updates to the Anti-Money Laundering Act, which is covered in this article.
